Steve Ruane - Drums

Steve first started playing the drums at the tender age of 11 and soon found himself performing gigs with bands around the Derbyshire area. Now a 'seasoned pro' he has played a great many gigs both in the UK and abroad.

He has worked with original bands such as funk rockers 'Seduced' and 'The Chettles' who won a B.B.C. Radio 1 competition for new talent and supported Jools Holland and his big band playing University student balls.

He has also worked professionally with several cover bands, (including recording and performing for the B.B.C), and has played a great variety of music, from ten piece soul/funk bands, Rock, pop, indie and country bands.....if you can name it, he's probably played it !

He has also played gigs in ski resorts in the Italian alps and with an upmarket band in Mauritius. Steve plays with skill and flair, driving the band along and likes to see the dance floor packed !
